Treasury M&A Expert

Location: MOL Campus, Budapest (on-site)

As Treasury M&A Expert, you will play a key role in supporting mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions from a Treasury perspective across the Group. You will be responsible for shaping financing structures, ensuring liquidity and treasury risk coverage, and supporting post-transaction integration and subsidiary financing.

Key responsibilities

Act as Treasury lead on ongoing M&A transactions, covering financing structures, parent company support, payment mechanisms and other Treasury topics
Review internal decision-making materials and key transaction documents (SPA, SHA, JoA, MoU, etc.) from a Treasury perspective
Evaluate Treasury-related aspects of deals, including securities, currency of payment, transfer mechanics and form of financing
Closely cooperate with M&A, Finance, Legal and GBS teams, ensuring timely involvement of all relevant stakeholders
Provide professional guidance and support to colleagues managing M&A deals; contribute to Treasury knowledge sharing and trainings
Actively participate in post-transaction integration processes, including financial restructuring and Treasury integration of new subsidiaries
Represent Treasury in M&A forums and meetings; define and communicate Treasury-related guidelines for transactions
Maintain Treasury M&A records and ensure proper archiving of all relevant documentation
Ensure financing and liquidity of assigned subsidiaries
Advise on subsidiary financing solutions, capital structure and dividend proposals; prepare financing agreements
Support subsidiaries through issuing parent company commitments and participating in annual financing reviews

What We’re Looking For:

University degree in Economics, Finance or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant professional experience (Treasury, Corporate Finance, M&A, funding)
Strong knowledge of M&A transactions and related documentation
Solid understanding of corporate finance, corporate and project funding
Ability to work independently on complex topics while coordinating multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset and sound business judgment
Professional working proficiency in English
Confident user of MS Office applications
Willingness to work in an international environment
