Main responsibilities:
Be involved in the implementation of the MOL Group's business, functional area and IT strategy within his/her own organization, and actively participates in maintaining the service provider's approach.
Actively participate in the design and construction of future projects.
Contribute to the successful and efficient implementation of projects through decision preparation and professional decisions.
Operate and be fully aware the hardware and software components of the IT infrastructure systems used by MOL Group IT within required (SLA), including the monitoring system.
Be fully aware of the quantitative and qualitative parameters, capacity, features and capabilities of the systems under his/her responsibility.
Actively participate in the standardization of operational processes, in the monitoring of the life cycle of devices, in the consolidation, in the introduction of new versions.
Drive the professional control, day-to-day implementation and cost-effective implementation of IT operational changes resulting from improvements and modifications.
Ensure the availability of the systems and services under his responsibility with defined parameters (SLA, OLA), with stand-by activity, if necessary. Have a comprehensive, deep knowledge of system performance, capacity and reports on them at regular intervals or as required. Drive the planning and deployment of system fault tolerance, develop a strategy for backing up and archiving system data, and coordinate the development, monitoring and implementation of disaster plans.
Prepare and keep up-to-date documentation of the systems under his responsibility, such as configuration management, capacity management, user management, etc. and keeping them up-to-date.
Regularly update the quantity and quality parameters of the services on its central data store.
Prepare the most important performance indicators and reports related to the operated services and define frequency or reporting.
Receive and manage error reports and problems related to the operated services, and provide solutions within a defined time frame (SLA, OLA) and initiate improvement of error management processes.
Drive professional discussions with internal professional partners, as well as with external experts and contracted partners. Initiate and, if implemented, develop plans for more efficient processes.
Be aware and monitor external (e.g. operation support, telecommunications) and internal (e.g. SLA, OLA) contracts. In case of external contracts, monitor the expiry of contracts, review them and assist in the conclusion of new contracts on technical issues.
Be responsible for the observance and enforcement of the information security rules related to the operated service, in case of detected violation to report it to Network Infrastructure Operations Team Leader, in case of IT emergencies ensure the primary role of business continuity related to the operated service.
Main requirements:
Higher education (college / university degree)
Minimum 3-5+ years in network operation field
Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, tools, applications, deep ITIL v3 knowledge, progressive experience in networking and network security, including firewalls, VPN's, L4-7 network services on OSI layer.
Active speaking and written English (Intermediate)
Agility, team playing, customer focus, problem solving, analysing skills
