We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Java) to design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Create automated test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
- Organize and execute automation tasks while upholding testing standards across the team
- Incorporate test cycles into the DevOps pipeline
- Resolve system issues creatively and efficiently through effective troubleshooting
- Build automation for backend services (REST APIs) and frontend
- Record and report defects
- Oversee test data and test environments
- Handle version management of test scripts
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including test automation development or a mix of development and testing experience
- Proficiency in Java
- Background in REST and SOAP API testing, ideally with SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
- Expertise in Selenium or comparable tools, together with Cucumber
- Capability to build and maintain automation scripts that ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Skills in functional, integration, and regression testing, including authoring unit tests for robustness, edge cases, usability, and overall reliability
- Knowledge of manual testing at a solid level
- Competency in connecting test suites to CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, including client-facing experience
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
