About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer who enjoys turning ideas into clear flows, intuitive layouts, and consistent UI screens. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Senior Designers to create smooth user experiences while learning the full end‑to‑end DF delivery process.
This role is perfect for someone early in their design career who wants structured mentorship in UX, interaction design, UI craft, design systems, and user testing.
What you’ll do
- Support UX flows, IA, and early‑stage concepts for apps and web experiences.
- Create and iterate wireframes, mid‑fidelity layouts, and simple prototypes in Figma.
- Prepare design handoffs (specs, behaviour notes, component references).
- Participate in design QA — checking final builds for fidelity and usability.
- Shape our design language and maintain components in our design system
- Produce basic UI assets (icons, illustrations, micro‑interactions) with guidance.
- Help run user tests and incorporate findings into improved designs.
What You Bring
- A foundation in UX/UI principles: hierarchy, flows, layout, component thinking.
- Familiarity with Figma (components, variants, prototyping).
- Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with multiple roles.
- Attention to detail and a habit of thinking through edge cases.
- Curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning professional‑grade design delivery.
How you’ll grow here
- Clear mentorship path guided by DF’s senior designers.
- Exposure to both discovery and delivery phases across diverse digital products.
- Opportunity to build a portfolio of real, high‑impact user journeys.
- Team culture that combines experimentation with high‑quality execution.
