OPX Digitalization Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end web applications for production digitalization
• Development of responsive and user-friendly frontends for production dashboards and monitoring tools
• Implementation of backend services, APIs, and server-side logic for data processing and integration
• Management and optimization of databases and web server environments
• Ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
• Deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments
• Collaboration with global production, operations, and engineering teams to translate requirements into digital solutions
• Support of integration with industrial systems and shopfloor devices
• Supports global production digitalization initiatives
• Contributes to efficiency improvements and data transparency in manufacturing
• Enables integration between IT systems and shopfloor environments

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fullstack software development.
• Proven experience in developing scalable web applications in industrial or production environments preferred
• Experience with the following ones:
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular or similar frameworks)
• Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core
• API development: RESTful services
• Databases: MS SQL and general relational/non-relational database knowledge
• Containerization and deployment: Docker
• Version control: Git
• .NET
• Microsoft Entity Framework
• ASP.NET Razor Pages
• Blazor
• Angular
• Visual Studio
• IIS Web Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective international communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional and globally distributed teams
• Structured and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness for occasional international travel (maximum 4 weeks/year)
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in PLC programming
• Knowledge of industrial fieldbus systems (e.g., Profibus, Profinet)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and shopfloor integration
