Drive Data-Driven Compliance Excellence Across Downstream Operations

Join our Group Downstream Business Compliance (DSBC) team and help enhance transparency, control effectiveness, and risk awareness across Downstream operations spanning multiple countries, products, and business units.
🎯 What You'll Be Doing
As a Group DS Business Compliance Junior Expert, you will support the Downstream Business Compliance function in delivering data-driven insights, strengthening business controls, and improving compliance processes across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the implementation of DSBC priorities, initiatives, and projects through analytical and operational support.
  • Assisting in the development, documentation, and maintenance of control frameworks, processes, and compliance tools.
  • Preparing data analyses, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business and compliance decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining analytical solutions using Power BI, AI-supported tools, scripts, and reporting platforms.
  • Supporting compliance reviews, assessments, and ad hoc business investigations through data collection, analysis, and documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with Compliance Experts and Lead Experts by providing analytical insights and project support.
  • Contributing to data-driven decision-making through structured reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Preparing presentations, management reports, and analytical materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in data analytics, data management, AI-supported solutions, and compliance-related methodologies.
  • Ensuring high standards of professionalism, data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in all activities.
🔎 What We're Looking For
🎓 Qualifications
University degree or equivalent qualification.
1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience or strong interest in data analytics, reporting, business analytics, compliance, audit, consulting, or related fields.
💡 Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with a solid foundation in data analysis and data handling.
Hands-on experience or strong aptitude in Power BI, dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization.
Interest in data science concepts, automation, and AI-supported analytical solutions.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in an international business environment.
Ability to work effectively under guidance while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Collaborative team player with a proactive and professional attitude.
High level of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in compliance, internal audit, consulting, business analytics, or risk management.
  • Exposure to the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Basic scripting or coding skills.
  • Experience working with AI/GPT-supported tools and analytical solutions.
  • Knowledge of data management and data quality principles.
  • Slovak language skills.
💻 Technical Skills
  • MS Office applications.
  • Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with GPT/AI-supported productivity tools.
  • Basic coding or scripting knowledge is an advantage.
