About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Data Operations Expert who gets excited about stability, reliability, and the invisible backbone of digital products: data operations. If you love digging into logs, spotting anomalies, running scripts, and ensuring systems run smoothly—you might be our next Growwwer.
This is an early‑career role designed for someone who wants to learn cloud data ecosystems, Databricks operations, monitoring, CI/CD, automation basics, and data quality essentials.
What you’ll do
- Keep our data pipelines healthy — monitor Databricks jobs daily and check infra health dashboards.
- Run predefined diagnostics and flag unusual behaviour with clear documentation.
- Do first‑level troubleshooting — reading logs, checking error codes, running SQL validations.
- Prepare structured tickets for senior Data Ops or Platform Specialists.
- Maintain runbooks, operational guides, and Confluence documentation.
- Run scheduled data quality checks and validate ingestion outputs.
- Assist in deployments (moving notebooks, testing triggers, validating system health).
- Learn CI/CD, Python/SQL scripting, and build small internal tools that improve operations.
What You Bring
- Curiosity about cloud data platforms, monitoring, and automation.
- Basic understanding of SQL/Python and willingness to develop deeper skills.
- Methodical mindset, attention to detail, and consistency.
- Interest in data quality, troubleshooting, and operational workflows.
- Proactiveness, accountability, and growth mindset.
How you’ll grow here
- Hands‑on learning with Databricks, Delta tables, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Coaching from senior Data Ops experts and a structured Growwwer development path.
- Ownership of small operational components early on, with clear growth opportunities.
- A team that values reliability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
