Project Analyst
Would you like to contribute to some of MOL Group’s biggest investment projects? We are looking for a Project Analyst to join our Group Strategic Capital Projects team and support the successful preparation, evaluation, and governance of major capital projects.
In this role, you will provide independent analysis and decision support for large refinery, petrochemical, and energy transition investments. Through your assessments and recommendations, you will help ensure that projects are based on robust business cases, realistic plans, and sound risk management practices.
Your key responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate capital project proposals, business cases, and project documentation.
- Assess project feasibility from technical, economic, schedule, and risk perspectives.
- Identify risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities to support investment decisions.
- Provide objective insights and recommendations during project gate reviews and approval processes.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of project control methodologies, reporting standards, and governance processes.
- Monitor project performance and contribute to benchmarking activities.
- Facilitate lessons learned and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen organizational capabilities and project delivery excellence.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in project analysis, project controls, project assurance, capital project planning, or a similar area.
- Understanding of capital project lifecycles and project management methodologies, including FEL and stage-gate processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically assess information and challenge assumptions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project is an advantage.
