Senior Process Excellence Expert
As a Senior Process Excellence Expert in Waste Management, you will support the strategic analysis, design, and digitalization of processes spanning multiple functional areas and business units. Your role is to ensure that that implemented processes drive maximum value creation for the business by applying a “customer first” approach. You support stakeholders to oversee process performance measurement, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Help to define and drive the vision for end-to-end (E2E) processes in waste management, integrating strategic business goals, industry best practices, and emerging IT possibilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with senior business representatives and key stakeholders to understand drivers, collect external client feedback, and identify high-value improvement opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Oversee the alignment of development directions with other senior process excellence experts and product owners. Manage interdependencies across teams and foster collaboration to deliver enterprise-wide value.
- Process Innovation and Quality Assurance: Support process reengineering initiatives, ensuring innovative solutions and providing governance and quality assurance during the implementation of new processes.
- Performance Optimization: Follow the process performance measurement frameworks, support KPI creation, and foster advanced root cause analyses to proactively address deviations and inefficiencies.
- Thought Leadership and Market Insight: Continuously challenge the status quo by benchmarking industry trends, maintaining a robust network within the sector, and driving adoption of cutting-edge practices and solutions.
- Financial Planning and Resource Allocation: Contribute to yearly financial planning, providing insights for CAPEX and OPEX measures to ensure cost-efficient and impactful spending aligned with business priorities.
Requirements
- University degree
- Minimum 5-6 years of work experience, minimum 3-4 years on relevant area (e.g. process manager, process analysis, etc.)
- Strong understanding of business process reengineering (BPR), continuous process improvement (CPI) and lean methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Advanced level in MS Office/O365
- Advanced presentation, verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English
- Driving licence (B)
