We're looking for a motivated and proactive Junior Business Analyst & Project Management Support colleague to support business users, traders, risk managers, and IT delivery teams in a dynamic and international environment.
This role is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals who want to develop their business analysis, project management, and stakeholder management skills while gaining insight into commodity trading, risk management, and enterprise software solutions.
Your responsibilities
As part of the Supply and trading team you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, helping to ensure that business needs are successfully translated into effective system solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Collecting, understanding, and documenting business requirements and change requests from various stakeholders.
  • Managing and tracking incidents, enhancement requests, and development demands through their full lifecycle.
  • Supporting requirement analysis and helping identify potential process and system improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining user stories, backlog items, and project documentation in Azure DevOps.
  • Coordinating activities between business users, developers, vendors, and project teams.
  • Supporting project planning, status tracking, meeting organization, and follow-up activities.
  • Participating in testing activities, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Tracking issues and supporting resolution processes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Working closely with traders, risk managers, and operational teams to better understand business processes and system usage.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of applications supporting trading and risk management activities.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, project support, application support, internship programs, or a similar area.
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome if they demonstrate strong motivation, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to understand both business processes and technology-related topics.
  • Collaborative, open-minded personality and strong team player attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
  • Experience with requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Exposure to testing activities and defect management.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working.
  • Interest in commodity trading, energy markets, risk management, or financial systems.
