Group Procurement Digital Delivery Lead Expert (Fixed Term)

In this position, you will have the opportunity to connect business, functional, and IT areas and shape the digital backbone of Group Procurement. You will act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring the efficiency, transparency and standardizations across all regions. You can be part of making sure that plans are turned into reality and that implemented solutions operate reliably in practice. The contract for this role is valid until December 31, 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of digital procurement initiatives, providing project management and subject‑matter expertise throughout the full lifecycle.
- Manage design, integration, and change‑management activities for complex, multi‑regional projects.
- Support the evaluation and selection of new procurement technologies, contributing to business cases and decision proposals.
- Drive requirement analysis and system design in collaboration with IT and software vendors.
- Contribute to system development, configuration, testing, and implementation, ensuring seamless integration into the MOL IT landscape.
- Define and safeguard group‑wide standards to ensure data transparency and harmonized processes.
- Coordinate Solution Improvement Requests (SIRs) and continuous system enhancement projects.
- Monitor and report on digital project progress and performance.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of SAP Ariba (S2C and Buying), including rollout of existing solutions across the group and exploration of new Ariba capabilities
- Identify automation opportunities and apply AI technologies
Your background:
- University degree (MA/MSc or BA/BSc) in Economics, Engineering, or IT.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and procurement‑related IT systems.
- Proven project and change‑management experience, ideally in cross‑regional environments.
- 3+ years of experience in IT system operation, development, design, or implementation.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1).
- Solid knowledge of SAP R/3 MM, SRM, SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract, and Ariba Buying
- Familiarity with AI technologies
- Category B driving license
- Strategic mindset, problem‑solving strength, and a collaborative, innovative attitude.
- Willingness to travel regionally – you have Category B driving licence
