Hazardous Waste Commercial Manager

At MOL Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the launch and market development of the new Hazardous Waste Incinerator at Danube Refinery. In this role, you will work on hazardous waste sourcing, trading, and business development activities, build relationships with customers and partners, and play a key role in shaping a new sustainable business area within MOL Group.

Main responsibilities

Develop and launch hazardous waste incineration service offerings and commercial models
Source and procure third-party hazardous waste streams and ensure stable feedstock supply
Manage hazardous waste trading activities and commercial transactions
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and external partners
Identify market opportunities and support business growth initiatives
Develop pricing strategies and monitor margins and commercial performance
Coordinate logistics and commercial activities related to hazardous waste flows
Ensure compliance with legal, HSE, quality, and data protection requirements
Support reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities

Requirements

MSc degree in Economics, Business, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, or another relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sales, or trading in industrial or waste management sectors.
Strong knowledge of procurement, sales, trading, logistics, and hazardous waste management.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent Hungarian and advanced English.
User-level knowledge of MS Office 365, SAP, BI, and related systems.
