Group Key Account Manager

We are looking for a
Key Account Manager
Place of work: Budapest / Tiszaújváros (one location only)
Scope:
Responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key global accounts with substantial impact on petrochemicals profitability. Responsible to manage volume/price ensuring the best achievable margins and revenues by fully utilizing the market and segment environment and by closely following the supply / demand trend.
Coordinates all account related cross-functional activities in order to align with strategic directions and to keep adequate service level towards the global key-accounts.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
  • Coordinating the Group-level account planning framework and leading the development of key customer account plans by identifying needs, prioritizing initiatives, and defining clear action plans, ensuring implementation in line with strategic directions
  • Building, maintaining, and developing relationships with key global partners, leading commercial negotiations to secure optimal price–volume agreements and strengthening strategic presence in priority segments, initiating and driving joint development projects to creating mutual value and fostering long-term collaboration
  • Monitoring and finalizing contracts, servicing assigned accounts, preparing quotations, maximizing prices, and securing orders
  • Managing the resources, methodologies and techniques required to delivering account plans and strategic targets, ensuring high service levels through coordinating cross-functional cooperation (accounting, treasury, logistics, back office, operations, product development, IT)
  • Maintaining up-to-date market, segment and customer knowledge and translating insights into profitability, initiating and delivering product and process development ideas to enhancing competitiveness
  • Proposing solutions for critical short- and long-term issues, preparing management proposals and coordinating implementation of decisions
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate directives and quality management system requirements
  • Contributing to developing guidelines, processes and projects
Requirements from our side:
  • Bsc/Msc degree in Economics
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Fluent English knowledge (both written and verbal)
  • Outstanding knowledge of products and application segments
  • Foreign trade experince
  • Financial-accounting knowledge
  • Domestic and international legal standards knowledge
  • Logistics skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in a multinational envi­ronment

  • Business and result orientation; conceptual thinking
  • Outstanding understanding of margin driver
  • Strong stakeholder focus and very good negotiation skills
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness
