API & Chemicals Procurement Team Lead

**API & Chemicals Procurement Team Lead
Your tasks
  • Lead procurement activities for specified categories under the responsibility of the assigned groups
  • Conduct supplier market analysis, benchmark pricing, and negotiate contracts with global and local suppliers
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Manage supplier risk, including compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Manufacturing, and Planning teams to align procurement decisions with product lifecycle, compliance, and production needs
  • Set clear objectives, mentor team members, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Manage budget forecasts and procurement KPIs, including cost reduction, on-time delivery, and supplier quality performance
What we are looking for
  • Master’s degree, preferred in economics or engineering
  • 7+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership
  • Deep experience in sourcing API, excipients, chemicals, packaging, medical devices and finished pharmaceutical products
  • Proven knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ISO and ICH guidelines
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools
  • Fluent English knowledge
