Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP-based programs, reports, interfaces, and user exits in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
Implement custom reports, forms (smart forms/Adobe forms), and workflows etc.
Execute ABAP programming tasks in strong cooperation with lead developers, functional experts and business analysts
Debug and troubleshoot issues in ABAP code, ensuring high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices and coding standards are followed
Take ownership of complex integration projects, including connecting SAP to external systems through APIs, web services, and middleware
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, high performance, and business continuity

Desired Experience & Skillset

General

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Over 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming (with at least 2 years in a Medior-level role).
Preferred Qualifications: SAP certifications; Experience with Cloud technologies
English language – intermediate/advanced level, esp. IT terminology

Skills – technical

Advanced knowledge of ABAP programming: Expertise in ABAP for building sophisticated custom solutions, reports, and enhancing SAP standard functionalities.
SAP Workflow & Forms: Extensive experience with SAP Workflow design, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms development
ABAP Debugging & Performance Tuning: Proficient in debugging and optimizing ABAP code for performance.
Data Integration & APIs: Experience in integrating SAP with external SAP & non-SAP systems.
Advantage: Fiori/UI5 development or SAP Workflow skills, S/4 HANA experience

Skills - soft

Strategic problem solving attitude: Ability to analyse and resolve complex technical challenges, identifying both short-term solutions and long-term improvements.
Collaboration skills: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, engaging with both technical and business teams to drive projects forward
Great time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments

Location: Budapest, Campus – hybrid (~60% onsite after 3 month-probation period)
