Group Maintenance Transformation Senior Expert
Scope:
As Maintenance Transformation Senior Expert, you will coordinate and support the Group-level maintenance transformation program. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of maintenance operations and strong interface management with all stakeholders. Acting as a senior subject matter expert, you will provide deep technical and strategic expertise to enable local organizations to successfully implement transformation initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
Main responsibilities:
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE aspects in maintenance operations.
- Support the transition to reliability-centered operations and monitor progress; identify and remove barriers to success.
- Review existing maintenance department operations to eliminate non-value-added activities and drive improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate process improvements among Business Units, SSC, and Procurement to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and structural development.
- Develop and implement new working processes, establish action plans, and monitor progress; link actions to business outcomes and value creation.
- Act as a change agent: lead transformation initiatives, conduct tutorials, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Contribute to mid-term strategic planning for Group Downstream Production maintenance and support integration with major projects and turnarounds.
- Provide engineering expertise for project development and implementation, including assurance reviews and readiness checks.
- Offer technical support for major incident investigations and promote modern investigation tools and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in refining or petrochemicals and at least 3 years in managerial or 5 years in project management roles.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with business acumen and analytical thinking.
- Experience in major project activities at production sites and project management.
- Ability to learn internal processes, think creatively, and solve problems effectively.
- Cooperative team player with flexibility and a proactive attitude.
- Fluent in English and Hungarian.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.
