We’re growing our Design Studio in Hungary and are seeking a Lead UX Designer to join our team!
We’re looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking — someone who can shape UX strategies that seamlessly connect user journeys, business goals, user needs, and technology.
In this role, you’ll work on diverse, cross-industry projects from concept to execution, collaborating with clients, creatives, delivery managers, and developers. You’ll bring strategy to life through storytelling, research, and a deep understanding of both users and business.

Responsibilities
  • Translate complex ideas and UX concepts into clear, engaging narratives, supported by strategic thinking, research, data, and business understanding
  • Be able to design, run, and moderate client workshops
  • Set high-quality UX design standards for web, mobile applications, and immersive experiences
  • Manage client expectations, present and articulate design concepts, gather feedback, and refine designs based on client and stakeholder input
  • Experiment with and apply AI tools to improve the effectiveness of the design process
  • Implement and maintain robust design systems to ensure consistency across all components and deliverables
  • Create prototypes to effectively communicate ideas
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, and in the current climate, be fully immersed in AI and what it has to offer design professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including visual designers, strategists, copywriters, and developers
  • Guide junior designers by providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment to support their skill development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Arts, Visual Design, or a related field, or relevant training
  • 5+ years of experience in design, ideally in an agency setting, with a portfolio showcasing strong UX, product design, and conceptual design skills
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, user-centered design, accessibility, and design systems
  • Interaction and visual design literacy – while primarily a UX designer, have an empathetic understanding of visual design
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite (or similar tools)
  • Ability to independently manage projects, meet deadlines, and work methodically in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and openness to diverse approaches
  • Systems thinker (E2E thinking) capable of connecting the dots across multiple dimensions, including user journeys, information architecture, and ecosystem dependencies
  • Expert-level proficiency in English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, design rationale, and strategic thinking in both written and verbal communication
