The **Test Manager contributes to the successful delivery of IT development programs and projects by coordinating and overseeing testing activities across assigned Product Delivery Teams. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining test management standards, best practices, and methodologies that ensure consistency, quality, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle. The Test Manager works cross-functionally to embed testing discipline into release planning, collaborates with department managers and stakeholders to align on testing strategies, and ensures that organizational policies and quality benchmarks are upheld across all development efforts.

Main responsibilities:
**Establish and maintain test management standards, methodologies, and best practices across product delivery teams to ensure consistent and high-quality testing processes.
**Coordinate and oversee testing activities throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management, and reporting—without direct line authority.
**Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Owners, Release Managers, Developers, Business Analysts) to align testing strategies with release plans and business objectives.
**Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks during all phases of testing and release.
**Support test environment readiness, including data preparation, configuration, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
**Monitor and evaluate test execution, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Provide actionable insights to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
**Facilitate test governance and reporting, delivering clear visibility into test progress, defect trends, and release readiness to stakeholders.
**Promote automation and continuous testing practices, working closely with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate testing into delivery workflows.
**Contribute to incident and problem management, supporting root-cause analysis and post-release quality reviews.
**Mentor and influence delivery teams, sharing expertise, guiding on testing discipline, and fostering a culture of quality—without formal supervisory responsibilities.
Main requirements:
University or college degree, specialization in the relevant Business or IT domain is an advantage
5+ years of professional experience, min. 3+ years in Test management, preferably in enterprise or regulated environments.
Test Strategy & Methodology: Ability to define, implement, and evolve test strategies across diverse delivery teams. Deep understanding of testing types (functional, regression, performance, UAT, etc.) and when to apply them.
Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid development models.
Quality Assurance: Strong focus on quality as a business enabler, not just a technical checkpoint.
Process Design & Governance: Ensures compliance with organizational policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Promotes continuous improvement through retrospectives, metrics, and feedback loops.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to coordinate testing activities across teams without direct authority.
