About the Role
We’re looking for a Test Manager to lead the testing of our most impactful digital initiatives. You’ll report directly to the Head of Engineering and take ownership of test planning, stakeholder alignment, and team leadership across internal squads and external vendors.
This role is ideal for someone who has built and led teams.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of test experts, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, tracking, and resolution of issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the overall project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Reporting: Provide regular status reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
University or college degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
Master’s is a plus
Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on test management and leadership roles.
ISTQB, CSTP, CTM, CSQA and ITIL certifications are an advantage
Experience
7-10 years in IT and software testing /QA roles
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Proficiency in test automation tools is a plus.
Professional Skills
Strong understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies
Experience in contract management and vendor coordination
Strong leadership and talent development capabilities
Comfortable working in multivendor and remote team environments
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA (+Big Picture, + Xray), Figma, Confluence, and MS Project
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical thinking, planning, coordination, and execution abilities
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Clear and confident communicator across all levels
Process-oriented with a sharp eye for detail
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working in a fast-spaced environment with multiple priorities
Open to working across cultures in the CEE region
