Your responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain packaging systems optimized for protection and presentation.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams (development, sourcing, manufacturing).
- Conduct feasibility and cost analyses.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering or a comparable technical education.
- Between 2 and 5 years of packaging engineering experience, preferably with automotive or aftermarket exposure.
- Experience with tools like SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD are preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office exist.
- Designing and testing packaging, prototyping and ensuring compliance with industry or customer standards.
- Familiarity with packaging materials (paper, plastics, foams), containerization, warehouse/transport processes, dunnage, and design-for-transport efficiency.
- Work closely with supply chain, engineering, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, and external vendors.
- Manage small projects and bill-of-material components; coordinate NPI (New Product Introduction) packaging requirements and supplier deliverables.
- Ensure packaging meets IATF, ISO and other regulatory standards.
- Drive cost-saving, Lean, and value-stream efficiency in packaging operations.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Analytical mindset for process troubleshooting, cost analysis, rootcause investigations, and performance optimization.
