We build smart systems powered by data and AI – from our Salesforce-based loyalty app (MOL MOVE) to advanced analytics in pricing, forecasting, and workforce optimization. Our Group Data Analytics team is at the heart of this transformation, and now we’re looking for a new teammate to join the journey.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist who’s curious, driven, and ready to grow. You’ll work on real business challenges, help shape data strategies, and contribute to projects across MOL Group and beyond.
This role is a great opportunity to learn from senior experts, build scalable ML and analytics solutions, and see your work make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into analytical solutions
- Develop and test data science models with support from senior colleagues
- Prepare clean, high-quality datasets for modeling
- Experiment with algorithms and evaluate performance
- Translate complex problems into efficient, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and IT teams to integrate models
- Contribute to the execution of ML/AI roadmap and deliver project-level tasks
- Document your work and support lifecycle management of data science solutions
- Help align data strategies with MOL Group’s business goals
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
- University or college degree (or equivalent work experience)
Experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on data science experience
- Familiarity with agile or Scrum is a plus
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of predictive and prescriptive algorithms
- Experience with Python (preferred), R, or Scala
- SQL and NoSQL query writing (PL SQL, T-SQL, Hive, Impala)
- Familiarity with Power BI (preferred), QlikView, or Tableau
- Experience with Azure or Databricks is a plus
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
