Planning Process Development Expert

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

Scope of the position:

Support modelling processes with basic data processing to ensure reliable and accurate planning and scheduling models.

Your tasks will be:

Input data management: Contribute to reliability and consistency analysis of input data used for planning and scheduling.
Model maintenance: Contribute to model maintenance for planning and scheduling.
Model development: Contribute to multi-purpose models development. Contribute to annual, quarterly model development plans.
Projects: Contribute to strategic planning support.
Miscellaneous: Making of proposals for the testing and introduction of the new techniques, tools and processes used in planning and scheduling.

What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence and innovation.

Educational Background: MSc in Economics, Mathematics or Chemical Engineering
Professional Experience:
Background in optimization, scheduling, or decision support tools
Ability to create simple refinery unit models and material balances
Understanding of modeling structures and business use of optimization tools
Skills:
Knowledge of at least one Operational Research method (LP, MIP, Simulation, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Effective collaboration and communication skills
English language (professional working proficiency)
IT Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, VBA, and awareness of planning/scheduling/reporting systems
