Head of Group Facilities Engineering and Project Management
Location: Budapest, MOL Campus, XI.district (Easily accessible via Tram 1 or Buses 107/154, or by car.)
Your impact will be:
- Set the technical direction for Surface Facilities Engineering across MOL Group by acting as the trusted authority and guardian of engineering standards.
- Shape project success from the start by ensuring optimal development concepts are chosen through robust Front-End Loading in Field Development Planning.
- Drive production excellence by applying debottlenecking and optimisation strategies that maximize hydrocarbon throughput and asset performance.
- Influence cost-efficiency by identifying innovative technologies and approaches that reduce unit technical costs and enhance project economics.
- Safeguard project integrity through engineering assurance and peer reviews across all lifecycle phases—from exploration to decommissioning.
- Build future capability by mentoring talent, strengthening engineering capacity, and securing sustainable leadership within the organization.
- Promote a culture of excellence and compliance, ensuring alignment with MOL Group's values, HSE, and ethical standards in every engineering decision.
What You Bring to the Table:
We’re looking for a results-driven leader with a passion for excellence and innovation.
- Educational Background: You have a University or College degree in Engineering (preferably oil and gas engineering or chemical engineering),
- Professional Experience: Confident and proven senior management experience in leading departments that support onshore and offshore E&P projects, covering the entire spectrum of the Stage Gate Process.

Strategic thinker with a strong ability to see the big picture and drive long-term value,
Deep expertise in engineering across the oil & gas value chain, with strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations,
Proven leadership in managing teams and complex projects, even under uncertainty and risk,
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English,
Excellent communicator and collaborator, with strong interpersonal and team management skills,
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently,
Strong problem-solving mindset with analytical skills and a proactive approach,
