Your responsibilities
- Act as central coordinator for environmental and energy topics across all BUs
- Ensure legal compliance and certification (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 50001, EU ETS, REACH)
- Lead environmental and energy data collection (EDC) and support external audits
- Own ESG reporting for CSRD/ESRS (E1E5), EU Taxonomy, and Group disclosures
- Define and enforce unified reporting standards and tools
- Drive decarbonization and energy efficiency programs (e.g. GEEP, SBTi roadmap)
- Forecast energy/emission costs and contribute to long-term transformation planning
- Provide functional guidance to BU coordinators and escalate target deviations
- Represent the function in ESG working groups and regulatory projects
- Oversee key environmental topics (e.g. pollution, SVHCs, hazardous substances) and ensure cross-BU knowledge sharing
- Full functional responsibility for the environmental and energy domain across thyssenkrupp Automotive
- Compliance with all legal and internal requirements in the areas of environment and energy
- Accuracy, completeness, and auditability of environmental and energy reporting (e.g. CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy)
- Achievement and monitoring of decarbonization and efficiency targets (e.g. GEEP, SBTi)
- Professional ownership of multi-site certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 50001) and associated audit readiness
- Alignment and harmonization of environmental processes and reporting across BUs and sites
Your profile
- 58 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in ESG-related roles (e.g. sustainability, environmental management, carbon accounting, process/project management, customer-facing ESG).
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Relevant certifications may boost credibility for technical and leadership responsibilities
- Deep knowledge of environmental and energy legislation (e.g. EU ETS, EED, national laws)
- Experience with ISO 14001 / 50001 implementation and audits
- Understanding of decarbonization technologies and energy efficiency programs
