Group Sustainable Finance Specialist

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

About the company:

Your tasks will be:

Supporting ESG Target Setting & Reporting
Help define, track, and report on ESG-related KPIs across the Group, contributing to our sustainability goals.
Driving EU Taxonomy Compliance
Assist in preparing the EU Taxonomy disclosures for the Annual Report and help develop the underlying processes and data flows.
Building Awareness & Collaboration
Act as a connector between finance, sustainability, and business/project teams—raising awareness of ESG regulations and supporting decision-making with financial insights.
Delivering Insightful Reports
Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports on sustainability topics to support internal and external stakeholders.
Contributing to Strategic Projects
Join cross-functional initiatives where you’ll represent finance and bring ESG expertise to the table

What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for highly motivated and curious early-career professional who’s eager to grow in the field of sustainable finance. Ideally, you have:

Educational Background: You have a University or College degree in finance/economics/business or equivalent,
Professional Experience: 0-2 years relevant experience within ESG and Controlling/Project management roles in a corporate environment
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English,
Interest in ESG / sustainability, understanding the details of EU taxonomy framework is a distinct advantage
Strong stakeholder-management skills,
Knowledge of general corporate processes, accounting, corporate finance,
Service- and process-oriented mindset,
Proactivity with a problem solving mindset
