Central Controlling Lead – MOHU (part of MOL Group)

About the role

As the Central Controlling Lead at MOHU, you will take a key role in a groundbreaking 35-year national concession for waste management, supporting MOL Group’s strategic goal to become a circular economy leader in the CEE region. Your mission: build and lead a central controlling team that not only delivers accurate numbers – but creates real business insight.

You will report directly to the Head of Controlling and play a strategic role in both MOHU’s internal performance management and external MOL Group Finance collaboration.

You will have the possibility to keep your finger on the pulse of business, as well as shape the future of MOHU.

Key responsibilities

Lead the Central Controlling team: provide professional guidance and people leadership
Manage regular financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual)
Manage and drive reporting standardization and automation initiatives
Act as the main contact point for Waste Management segment-level reporting towards MOL Group

What we’re looking for

University/college degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management
8–10 years of relevant experience, including minimum 1 year in a leadership role
Strong analytical and systems thinking, with problem-solving orientation
Experience in leading expert teams and motivating people in complex environments
Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering skills
Strong understanding of corporate processes and financial planning cycles
Advanced MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Fluent English and Hungarian, both spoken and written
