Now our Team is looking for a skilled Geophysicist as:
Seismic Expert
Location: Budapest, MOL Campus, XI.district (Easily accessible via Tram 1 or Buses 107/154, or by car.)
Your tasks will be:
- Performing geophysical evaluations of field development and production optimization projects in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing key inputs for reservoir modelling, including structural frameworks and seismic-based reservoir parameter predictions.
- Leading and supporting geophysics projects from acquisition design to final interpretation.
- Identifying new opportunities for field development and production optimization initiatives.
- Mentoring junior staff in seismic interpretation, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
- Contributing to economic evaluations and field development approvals through seismic-based volumetric resource assessments.
What You Bring to the Table:
We’re looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence and innovation.
- Educational Background: You have a University degree in Geophysics.
Professional Experience: Confident and proven practical knowledge in seismic interpretation workflow elements especially well ties, structural interpretation, and depth conversion. Practical knowledge of structural uncertainty assessment. Experience in seismic data integration into reservoir modelling workflows.
Must-have hard-skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English,
Confident MS Office knowledge,
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard tools related to seismic interpretations (Halliburton DecisionSpace, or Schlumberger Petrel).
