Drive category planning, analysis, strategy development and implementation for a category in alignment with business partners. Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Responsible for managing the tasks stated under “Main responsibilities” on a group level.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster collaboration across Procurement and related departments.
Lead and implement category management strategies, including working group setup.
Drive cross-functional Category Working Groups and supplier selection within value limits.
Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term procurement plans aligned with business needs.
Monitor market trends and innovations to enhance category strategies.
Support sourcing, supplier negotiations, and claim management (e.g., liquidated damages).
Oversee Supplier Relationship Management, segmentation, evaluation, and development.
Act as escalation point for supplier-related issues.
Contribute to long lead item planning, market analysis, and ad hoc performance reporting.
Ensure delivery of KPIs and savings targets.

Education, skills, experience:

University (MA/MSc)/College (BA/BSc) in the field of Economics/Engineering/Law.
3-6 years procurement/category related experience.
Fluency in English.
User level ERP system (SAP preferred) and MS OFFICE knowledge.
Traveling, B category driving licence.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
