Trading Operations Expert

(Naphtha & LPG)

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

About the company:

Scope of the position:

Act as a connection point between external and internal stakeholders, managing and coordinating activities following Naphtha, LPG, as well as special LPG and C5 products deal conclusion, in constant cooperation with Traders, thereby contributing to reaching the team’s tactical (buy and/or sell) plan.

Maintain contact with business Partners, ensuring timely information flow and representing MOL's interests in all aspects of business procedures. Handle the complex activity of coordinating deliveries in cooperation with Rail, Inventory, Production scheduling and other teams. Ensure operational excellence and minimizing potential negative impacts of delayed deliveries in physical trading.

Your tasks will be:

All activities following deal conclusion - coordination and organization of physical product deliveries, contracting, price calculation and claims
Recording all information related to deliveries into relevant IT systems
Preparation and/or revision of contracts, in coordination with Legal and Finance departments
Keeping contact with partnering firms, ensuring timely information flow, sharing delivery status, documents and invoices.
Sharing information with Traders, drawing their attention to any identified business issues
Addressing Partner issues, displaying ownership, solution focused thinking and customer focus.
Liaising with Controlling, Treasury, Customs, Logistics and other internal stakeholders of MOL, on all individual contract fulfilment questions.
Ensure compliance with all international, as well as company rules
Support all relevant Petchem Feedstock Supply & Trading team’s projects

What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence and innovation.

Educational Background: University/College degree in business, economics, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
University degree
Foreign trade, logistics, customs & legal knowledge
Naphtha/LPG market knowledge is a plus
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advanced PowerPoint and Office 365 proficiency; familiarity with tools like Power BI, Yammer, or Menti is a plus.
Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to distill complex information into clear insights.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results.
Preferred: Slovakian or Croatian language skills and experience with data visualization tools
