Black Products Trader & Portfolio Development Expert

Now our Team is looking for a skilled commercial trading and development professional as:
Black Products Trader & Portfolio Development Expert
who will be responsible for Business Development, Market Supply, and Sales for MOL Group in the region, covering both domestic and export markets from all sources (own production and third-party purchases). The role focuses on commercial trading activities, ensuring efficient sales execution, optimal margins, supply and demand planning and high customer satisfaction. It also drives Black Products portfolio development by identifying market opportunities, improving margins and fostering innovation. Additionally, the position manages planning, quality, performance and project execution, balancing price-volume trade-offs to meet Group optimization targets. The role supports strategic initiatives, prepares development proposals and participates in related projects and ad hoc tasks.
The main responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and managing group-level sales activities, leading negotiations with key partners, and overseeing supply & sales planning, margin, and inventory management for Black Products within MOL Group. Monitoring contract performance, sales volumes, margins, and receivables.
  • Aligning activities with business strategy, continuously identifying and developing new business opportunities, and converting sales prospects into business.
  • Preparing decision-making proposals, presentations, reports, and analyses to support planning, quality, margin, performance, and project management.
  • Identifying market needs and developing commercial approaches aligned with targets; ensuring high internal and external customer satisfaction by improving service levels across the value stream.
  • Participating in complaint handling, problem analysis, and solution management, maintaining professional and technical knowledge with operational contacts inside MOL Group.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, corporate directives, and quality management system requirements.
  • Exploring and evaluating Black Products portfolio development opportunities through market and competitor analysis; collaborating with traders to align development with commercial execution.
  • Taking ownership or supporting project management tasks related to black products, while monitoring regulatory and environmental trends to guide strategic decisions and compliance.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics/Business or other relevant education
  • 2-5 yrs professional experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of business, logistics and financial processes
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellence in customer care
  • Result orientated attitude: ability to coordinate multiple projects independently

  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • MS Office, SAP, BI, related data base software knowledge
