Petchem Feedstock Business Analyst & Project Manager
Location: Budapest, MOL Campus
Scope of the position:
Analyze and review business results, based on all available systems, drawing main conclusions and keeping relevant Business Units updated. Follow market trends, conducting market intelligence and identifying margin improvement opportunities, supporting the Trading team in preparation and execution of Petchem Feedstock (Naphtha and LPG) as well as special LPG and C5 product lines strategy.
Manage relevant L5 and L4 level projects - coordinating, monitoring and evaluating execution to ensure clear strategic objectives, continuous development and alignment between strategy and operation. Support annual and monthly business planning and efficiency improvement frameworks, managing execution and executing tasks, preparing presentations and reports.
Your tasks will be:
- Implement, maintain and develop regular reporting of PFST team’s business results (measurement system, P&L calculation, supply and sales margin and/or volume), using all available reporting systems (SAP, BI, Quick View or any other IT system implemented within MOL Group’s umbrella).
- Support target and KPI setting, monitoring and evaluation to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the implementation of dashboards supporting daily decision making in cooperation with Customer Analytics, Planning, Controlling and Business teams.
- Analyze internal and external historical data, in order to identify functions and/or trends and make forecasts.
- Follow external market information, identifying margin improvement opportunities, sharing the outcomes with the Trading team and supporting their decision making.
- Conduct performance analysis (fact and/or forecast vs. plan), identify deviations, results, define learnings and initiated actions for improvement.
- Analyze inventory and product movement bottlenecks and propose projects to remove them, supporting implementation within MOL Group.
What You Bring to the Table:
We’re looking for a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence and innovation.
- Educational Background: University/College degree in business, economics, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
3+ years in corporate environments, with demonstrated success in strategic decision-making or management support roles.
- Proven track record in project management, including cross-functional and high-stakes initiatives.
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advanced PowerPoint and Office 365 proficiency; familiarity with tools like Power BI, Yammer, or Menti is a plus.
Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to distill complex information into clear insights.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results.
- Preferred: Slovakian or Croatian language skills and experience with data visualization tools
