BYD Europe BV located in Schiedam, Netherlands is the marketing and sales HQ of BYD Co., Ltd based in Shenzhen, China. BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily communication with other colleagues and with LSPs (Logistics service providers);
Arranging transport (trucking, shipping, or both)
Daily contact with local logistics service partners to follow up on the real-time status of the shipments/transportations;
Keeping track of all the shipments and prepare all necessary documents and payments;
Arranging commercial documents (invoices etc.) to be delivered to and handled by the related parties;
Daily data maintenance and update with systems & without systems (e.g. excels);
Participating and assisting in setting up BYD logistics supplier list;
Involved in monthly review meeting with logistics suppliers;
Dealing with the related paperwork for the internal and external purpose;
Monitoring potential problems and bottlenecks and exploring ways to improve working flow;
Providing support to all the procedures when it is needed.

Requirements:

Preferably up to 3 years of related working experience or graduate of related study field;
Bachelor`s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, data analysis or business management.
Proficient Excel user skills;
Excellent English language skills, Chinese, Dutch or any other European language will be considered as an advantage;
Stress-resilient with the problem –solving mindset;
Team player with attention to detail.
