Key Account Specialist

BYD Europe BV located in Schiedam, Netherlands is the marketing and sales HQ of BYD Co., Ltd based in Shenzhen, China. BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Support:
  • Analyze tender documents, review contracts and technical terms, complete and tender documents.
  • Serve as the main contact between IKA Sales and internal coordination (Product, ESG, Legal, Aftersales, Network), provide and collect the latest information, ensure smooth communication
  • Assist in preparing internal reports and external sales presentations according to the requirements.
  • Maintain and update international key account records and CRM database for accurate tracking and reporting.
Used Car Sales Support:
  • Handle the daily administrative tasks of the used car sales team, including file storage, contract filing and administrative duties to ensure efficient record keeping. (Documentation)
  • Process invoices, purchase orders and contracts related to used car activities. (OA Process)
  • Maintain accurate records of available inventory, sold vehicles and pricing details. (Inventory Monitoring)
  • Sales and customer data maintenance and update CRM system. (System Maintenance)
  • Generate regular sales performance reports, KPIs and trend analysis for management review. (Report Generation)
Others:
  • Process improvement, identify and recommend opportunities to streamline management processes and improve overall team efficiency.
  • Compliance, ensuring all sales activities and documentation are in compliance with company policies, industry standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Experience in executive management positions, preferably in the automotive industry. Familiarity with CRM marketing processes, auction platforms and car sales is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Fluent in Chinese and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience using CRM tools and inventory management systems.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
