Project Engineer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Accountable for the execution of the projects to be on time and within the budget, ensuring compliance with legal, HSE and all relevant industry standards. Responsible for the continuous renewal of supplier contracts, while controlling the approved cost frameworks and cost control. Cooperates with other departments e.g. Security, HSE in budgeting and execution phase.
- Responsible for managing contracts with designers, contractors, project management, local and regional suppliers and service providers, as well as initiating tenders and conducting their technical evaluations helping Procurement in negotiations.
- Ensures the preparation and approval of preliminary plans (fuel station and shop layout) that meet the standards set within MOL Retail, as well as local and global commercial, marketing, and network expectations, and prepares related proposals.
- Managing design processes (preliminary, permitting, and execution plans), including obtaining permits (local, construction, and occupancy permits) and preparing tender documentation.
- Continuously monitors the implementation of new greenfield projects, KDR’s, reconstructions and revisit projects (technical content, cost, time, quality, effective risk management; communication about project implementation) with or without external project management company, and manages them towards internal stakeholders (Network Development, Sales & Operations, Offer Management, Procurement), as well as suppliers and authorities. Visiting the projects at least twice on site (beginning of the project and at the end) to ensure construction aligns with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Oversees the handover process, checks and approves all invoices related to the projects and ensures the proper documentation (incl. AS-BUILT) and registration of the assets. Supports the obtaining of operating permits.
- Responsible for keeping the standards to ensure technical content meets customer requirements, while adhering to engineering, branding, and shop-related descriptions and formats (e.g.: construction, mechanical, IT, and electronic solutions)
Education, skills, experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Basic economics and advanced technical understanding .
- Minimum intermediate English knowledge.
- Driving licence, readiness to travel.
