About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety section: responsible for workshop production safety management, fire safety, safety education, safety training, safety inspection, 5S work promotion, environmental protection supervision, guidance, coordination, in accordance with ISO14001/ISO45001/ISO18001 system to promote and continue to supervise the improvement to ensure that the workshop is free of safety accidents.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

Proficient in the use of office software, understand the four major automotive production processes;
Strong communication and coordination skills, strong execution.
Understand the basic knowledge of lean production, and skillfully use lean production tools such as production line balance, TPM, production management Kanban, 5S, JIT, TQM;
Understand the production plan arrangement, production equipment management and production quality control;
Understand IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO18001 and other system requirements and VDA6.3 and VDA6.5 clauses.
More than 5 years of relevant work experience, with more than 3 years of team management experience. Experience in automobile frame, air conditioning and brake production management is preferred.
Proficient in English, Hungarian. Chinese is preferred. Working experience in English and Hungarian as working languages can be relaxed to other requirements.
