Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.

More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

6-8 years relevant financial experience, Controlling or FPA (Financial planning, analysis and reporting) is a preference
University degree, preferably in Finance or Economy
Advanced level of English
Reporting, Analysis & Insight skills
Ability to prioritise and work against timelines
Big picture thinking
Proactivity
Team player

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

Business plans and strategy

Get close to retail business, understand performance and identify challenges
Have access to long-term business strategy development and work on translating those strategic plans
Participate in the preparation of performance packs and business plan overviews

Forecasting & budgeting

Participation in the yearly budgeting and periodic forecasting process
Compare actual performance against budget, forecast & prior year
Identify and pro-actively highlight risks or opportunities and understand mitigation actions from other finance teams
Make sure planning timetables are met and submission supports the overall strategy
