We are currently looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join us at the MOL Campus in Budapest.

In this role, you will lead and manage end-to-end IT application development, and system replacement projects that supports Production and Production Accounting activity of MOL Hungary. You will also participate in the planning and preparation of MOL Group level IT projects and programs, as well as post-implementation evaluations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructural, application development and system replacement projects supporting MOL Hungary activities, ensuring successful delivery; participate in planning and preparation of MOL Group level IT projects and programs and post-implementation evaluation.
Responsible for delivering projects in alignment with business requirements and within defined budget framework and timeline. Responsible to manage and control project scope.
Follows project management methodology and internal IT & PMO related rules, regulations and processes,
Prepares project management deliverables of individual projects, such as business case and decision support materials, individual project plans (including scope, schedule, resource and budget), project status reports, project implementation plan etc. and ensure project management deliverables meet required quality criteria
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders; prepare regular forecasts including resource, schedule, budget.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies according to specifications, budget plan, and project schedule. Prepares resolution proposal within approved project framework.
Manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
Co-operates with external partner(s) involved in project implementation, defines evaluation criteria in alignment with senior experts and evaluates external vendor proposal from technical perspective, provides input for external partner evaluation
Act as a Domain Portfolio Manager in E&P IT area. Contributes to yearly project planning activities as well as regular and ad-hoc project portfolio reporting towards Group management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
Be active and supportive member of the MOL ITD GBS IT PM community and contribute to achieve the common team goals.

Main requirements:

Proven 7+ years experience as a Senior IT Project Manager
Experience in multinational company
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies and implementations are a must
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Result orientation, effective time and task management
The ability and willingness to learn quickly and apply new knowledge and skills,
Structured thinking and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economic, Geology or a related field is preferred.
Fluent in English and Hungarian, both verbal and written
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
