We seek for a

RESERVOIR GEOLOGIST

Main scope of the job:

You will tackle reservoir modelling and resource estimation tasks, transforming contingent resources into reserves as a member of a multidisciplinary team. You'll unlock potential through new wells, workovers, and complex field development projects. You’ll uncover the inner secrets of diverse clastic, carbonate, and metamorphic reservoirs, revealing untapped potential.

Key responsibilities:

Evaluate various types of reservoirs (both matrix and fractured, clastic and carbonates) by reviewing, interpreting and integrating multidisciplinary data.
Collaborate with relevant peer disciplines to deliver integrated and validated results.
Assist on technical evaluation of new opportunities in development and production optimization areas, both in green and brown fields.
Deliver resource estimations, including in-place volume calculations using deterministic and stochastic methods.
Utilize and build 3D geomodels, applying geostatistical and modeling methods, including uncertainty workflows.
Contribute to preparation of drilling/WWO proposals and plan geological aspects of drilling programs.
Plan subsurface projects, coordinate subprojects, and write geological chapters of reservoir studies.

Requirements:

MSc degree in Geology/Geophysics/Earth Sciences/Hydrogeology/Petroleum engineering or similar.
Proficiency in both Hungarian and English.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in reservoir geology.
Experience with SLB’ Petrel or Aspentech’s RMS or RfD’s tNavigator software.

Advantages:

Experience in coordinating study/subsurface project teams.
Familiarity with SPE-PRMS.
