WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

University education
1-2 years of professional experience
Advanced level of english language (C1)
Experience in transport management
Experience in buying, selling and negotiating
Understanding ways of working of domestic and international
Communication
Negotiation
Analytical thinking
Finance management (sales, margins, costs)

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

Staying up to date with worldwide transport markets trends to continuously seek and challenge transport costs, profits and standards for long and short strategies planning.
Advising and challenging the business on lean, cost effective solutions by working in partnership with Product Team and Supply Chain to work optimal distribution models.
Managing team of CE transport specialist on: on time and accurate data reporting, transport planning, performance management
Keeping close business relations with suppliers by daily review of transport data and periodical reviews at suppliers sites to confirm great standard of cooperation.
Visiting and Supervising haulers / suppliers service centers and depots to monitor and improve distribution processes, administration cover and
Challenging performance of 3rd party haulers spread worldwide providing transport resources.
Leading evaluation to ensure agreed steps are followed up by all sides of contractual cooperation.
Promoting Primary services by actively taking part in European Food and Transportation Congresses / Conferences
Attending major transport market events across Europe to seek new partners and solutions
On site cooperating with Tesco Distribution Centers senior teams on Primary deliveries regarding performance on unloading, claims, damages and quality.
Reviewing new technologies and alternative ways of deliveries to optimize transportation time and costs
Manage team of CE Primary Account Managers
