Finance Business Partner - Sales

Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.
More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Previous 4-7 years experience with Finance business partnering/ Financial planning, analysis and reporting or other finance department
  • University degree, preferably in Finance or Economy
  • Advanced level of English
  • Strong analytical thinking, ability to work with data sources
  • Finance data interpretation, ability to draw conclusions from financial results
  • Communication and presentation skills, courage to speak-up
  • Independency, drive, enthusiasm to learn new things, out of box thinking
  • Resilience, assertiveness
  • Team player
  • Influencing & Negotiation skills
WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT
Acting as the expert and interface into Finance by providing insight, challenge, strategic support and analysis to the business.
Creating and driving value for the business, supporting the business to achieve financial goals and driving the strategic direction of the respective business area.
  • Shaping sales strategy during long term planning
  • Partnering with senior business stakeholders/leaders and delivering value added sales analysis to drive business decisions and corrective actions
  • Delivering value added analysis and support with financial insight the local management
  • Identifing and proactively highlighting risks and working to mitigate issues
  • Constructively challenging and recommending changes the business underpinned by sound financial expertise
  • Helping to create choices and providing decision support to close performance gaps
  • Ensuring business understands and delivers against performance KPIs
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis based on requests
