Regional Sales Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Responsible for managing a region of at least 100 service stations, ensuring sales targets, profitability, and operational excellence aligned with company strategy. Ideally manages a flagship site directly.
- Maintains strong field presence (min. 3 days/week) and closely collaborates with Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
- Monitors and analyzes sales performance; supports ASMs in action planning and execution to improve results and customer experience.
- Acts as the voice of the customer; drives improvements in service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implements the Retail strategy across all sites, aligned with country and Group direction.
- Oversees regional profitability, OPEX control, and inventory management; contributes to planning and budget compliance.
- Facilitates cross-functional cooperation (HSE, Maintenance, Training, etc.) to ensure legal and operational standards are met.
- Ensures compliance with operational procedures and regulations.
- Focuses on continuous improvement in site operations, team performance, and process efficiency.
- Participates in Group and local projects, pilots and implements initiatives until fully integrated into daily operations.
- Tracks competitor activity and market changes in the region.
- Directly manages and develops ASMs; sets and aligns their targets with business goals; ensures effective communication with HQ.
- Supports partner selection and development in collaboration with ASMs.
- Coordinates with Group Sales & Operations to align on strategic and daily activities.
Education, skills, experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 years of experience with people/team management and in project environment.
- 5 years of experience in retail operations, responsibility of delivering sales results.
- Fluency in English.
- Driving licence, readiness to travel.
