CE Lead Managing Hours and Payroll Manager

Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.
More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.
Please note that the position is fixed term!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • University studies
  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing hours, payroll and data analysis
  • Understanding of store operations
  • Proven leadership in team management
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Understanding of budgeting processes
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to analyze reports and provide actionable insights to support business operations.
  • Ability to adapt and integrate new technologies.
WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including country retail teams and central functions, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • You manage the hours blueprint process as the owner and expert for the CE.
  • You are responsible for the proper flow of Business Requests between Managing Hours and other central functions, ensuring all country requests are built, discussed, and answered.
  • You conduct business analysis on efficiency opportunities and risks impacting store budget hours.
  • You collaborate with the Operations Development team to ensure all process changes in stores are captured in the budget.
  • You analyze reports and provide insights for Stores and all Business Operation Functions.
  • You develop reports and ensure all reports requested by business units are available.
  • You understand model insides and support the process of new model validation to comprehend operational changes.
  • You ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and proactively manage risks associated with hours and payroll processes.
