Contribute geological assessment and analysis to support project planning and decision-making process.
Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling and reservoir engineers to develop well plans and optimize drilling operation.
Supervise and coordinates all aspects of well site geological operations to ensure well objectives are safely fulfilled.
Provide technical support and expertise to operational teams to ensure efficient execution of G&G programs and adherence to HSE protocol. Conduct periodic field visits to monitor geological conditions and provide on-site support as needed.
Monitor drilling operations in real time to provide geological guidance and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Provide QC on daily and periodical documentation, supervise final well report & assists in peer reviews.
Perform complex pore pressure prediction based on off-set well data and manage and supervises on-site pore pressure prediction by involving the competent departments.
Contribute to the contractor evaluation process, ensures the implementation of the lesson learned.
Mentors graduates / young colleagues.
Monitor industry development, technology advancements and best practices in operations geology and workovers.
Continuously monitors the implementation plan's financial history comparing plan to fact.
Minimum requirements:
The ideal candidate shall have a MsC in petroleum geology / geology / geoscience / petroleum engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an operations geologist, or more than 5 years of experience as wellsite geologist or experts in related service companies.
The ideal candidate:
Speaks Hungarian as mother tongue.
Communicates in English both in written and verbal form fluently.
Has strong organizational, coordination and communication skills, the ability to maintain and organize accurate records of information and critical way of thinking.
Is a team-player and embraces collaborative work.
