Job Description: A leading banking institution is seeking an ESG business analyst (medior/mid-senior level) to assist in the development and implementation of OTP Group’s sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and managing complex ESG data management and reporting processes:
o Work closely with ESG stakeholders to understand their data demands.
o Gathering business requirements, forming development initiatives
o Coordinating, supporting and monitoring the launch of IT developments
o Preparation and testing
o Detection, analysis, and correction of errors
o Quality control of IT submissions from subsidiaries
o Continuous monitoring and improvement of data quality, feedback to data sources
o Active participation in the implementation of change requests concerning the content of reports/data services and their production process (monitoring and interpretation of external and internal change requests, development of development specifications, user testing, development of policies and other documentation)
Continuous simplification, streamlining and automation of the end-to-end report production process.
Participation in regulatory reporting projects and ad-hoc tasks
Staying up to date with developments in sustainable finance, including changes to regulations and emerging best practices, adapting project requirements and delivery accordingly

Requirements:

Master's degree in economics or information technology
Min. 2 years of experience as a process manager, system administrator, business analyst
SQL programming knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to details
Good communication and presentation skills in English and Hungarian
Self-starting mindset with ability to learn fast
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and with different ways of thinking
Confident use of MS Office applications

Preferred qualifications and/or experience:

Some experience in ESG reporting
Project management experience
