Finance Associate

We established our service centre supporting Tesco's operation in the Central European region back in 2019. Our colleagues provide service for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia in several fields: finance, people and payroll services, colleague and customer engagement, customer and product, enterprise analytics. Besides these, we have a modern Technology Hub developing software and applications used by millions of people - customers and colleagues - globally.   • Minimum high school graduate
  • Experience in Finance is an advantage
  • Intermediate level English knowledge
  • Czech/Slovak language knowledge is advantage
  • Financial accounting knowledge
  • Analytical skills

  • Intermediate MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) knowledge

  • Work within the team to ensure TGAP, guidelines, Key Financial Controls, other relevant policies and processes are correctly implemented in the country of responsibility
  • Meet business representatives to discuss issues · Actively prepare the ad hoc reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliation responsibility (supporting documentations, analysis etc.)
  • Period closure activities
  • Following the instructions and fulfilling assignments given to me by my line superior and delivering ad hoc tasks
  • Cooperation and support with other departments
  • Taking part in any project
  • Sharing knowledge and best practises with other colleagues
  • Perform other duties/Activities and AD HOC tasks related to my work or the work of my department as required / assigned by line manager & manager
  • Ensuring 100% compliance to Audit and any other regulations the process deals with
