We are looking for a

Business Development Lead Analyst

who will contribute to the development and realization of sustainable business opportunities in line with MOL Group 2030 “Shape Tomorrow” strategy. Contribute to business case creation and support development of new, sustainable business project(s).

The main responsibilities:

Initiate and analyze conceptual business opportunities related to the development of strategic directions in line with MOL Group 2030+ Strategy
Lead the work related to the market analysis of early-stage strategic projects, including secondary market research, competitor benchmarking and contribution to due diligence processes
Coordinate the business case development of Downstream new and sustainable organic and inorganic strategic projects; engage and align with stakeholders to ensure delivery of agreed steps
Lead the review of mid- and long-term market and business intelligence activities; monitor market and legislative trends to identify new opportunities for value chain extension
Identify new practices related to the structuring and representation of business cases and understanding their dependencies with other business development initiatives

Requirements:

BSc/MSc degree in economics/business management/engineering
3-5+ years professional experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably strategy/business development/consulting
Committed to sustainability topics
Experience with green hydrogen and/or recycling topics is an advantage
Advanced English knowledge (Hungarian/Slovakian/Croatian language knowledge is an advantage)
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
Outstanding strategic management, structuring and problem-solving capabilities and demonstrates strong analytical skills
Experience in financial modeling
Category B driver’s license
Experience of the downstream processes and value chains is an advantage
