Contracts Manager!
In this role You will:
  • Provide leadership to develop and retain a niche expertise and talent in GBS with a focus to deliver timely, accurate and high quality contract documentation; ensure that the team is appropriately trained to successfully carry out their roles and responsibilities. Build and maintain a high performing contracts team for RPT who acquire the required technical and commercial expertise to the business and maintain a reputation for excellence.
  • Supervise and monitor controls related to creation of Contracts/Confirmations for trading transactions or management of electronic confirmation matching processes and systems.
  • Accountable for the accurate preparation of complex deal contracts/confirmations, ensuring timely execution, liaising with Legal, Regional Contracts/Confirmations and other partners as necessary
  • Ensure the review and matching of incoming contracts/confirmations; timely response or escalation of issues or concerns related to compliance, commercial or credit exposure.
  • In cooperation with Global/Regional Manager accountable for identifying key partners, building and managing the relationships and customer focus. Key partner with functional SLLs, and other senior collaborators across T&S as well as GBS to deliver strategic continuous improvement, business change projects.
  • Develop new and innovative approaches where structured frameworks and Contracts/Confirmations are not applicable. Improves the efficiency of the Contracts/Confirmations related processes.
  • Working with the functional subject matter experts in the Contracts Hub, lead and drive simplification and process efficiencies to increase capacity for growth and commercial delivery.
  • Ensure understanding of compliance issues and critical controls affecting relevant trades, and able to advise and remediate as appropriate, key areas being, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and indemnities
  • Leading/participating in projects as appropriate
What You will need to be successful:
  • At least 10 years of working experience in corporate environment
  • Experience in managing teams and projects
  • Experience in developing and delivering continuous improvements ideas (e.g. process change and/or automation & reporting changes)
  • Working proficiency in English
  • Good technical skills (MS Office)
  • Interest in standard financial trading instruments
  • Ability to lead, coach, challenge and build hard-working teams with professional and people management support from line manager
  • Proven experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ability to understand business drivers and how Contracts/Confirmations support delivery of the business strategy
